What is Fate?

FATE is the offshoot of the Merit clothing and philanthropy brand.

Merit’s FATE Program has operated with students from Detroit’s Jalen Rose Leadership Academy.

Each year, kids are split into teams to create capstone projects which which include a 60-second commercial, a print advertisement, and a pitch presentation.

These campaigns are shown and judged by a panel during the student showcase where the winners receive a cash prize and promotion on the Merit website.

Creatives from around detroit are called each year to mentor these students on concepting, visualizing and executing their visions.
